Welcome to Park City
Located about 40 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport is the bustling town of Park City. Park City started as an early mining town in the 1860s, and after the collapse of the silver mining boom, Park City was converted into a ski town. Known for having some of “The Greatest Snow Earth,” thanks to the light, powdery low-density snow, you can float your skis through the fresh powder for miles and miles. This was probably a major factor in Park City becoming one of the host locations during the 2002 and upcoming 2034 Winter Olympics.
Boasting an average of 150 inches of snow each year on our well-groomed trails, we can keep your family entertained for days at a time. If you are more adventurous, then the backcountry with fresh, untouched trails can be reached by helicopter or cat tracks to satisfy your adrenaline rush.
Skiing is not the only winter adventure enjoyed in Park City. We have access to some of the best snowmobiling areas with open fields and ridges for some of the most scenic views in the world. Of course, we should not forget the dog sledding and snowshoeing.
Park City is more than just a winter town. The summer months bring some of the best outdoor recreation activities to life. We have some of the best hiking and biking trails in the Western United States, and we are close to multiple recreational bodies of water, hot air balloon events, horseback riding, ATV excursions, camping. If it can be done outdoors, chances are you can find a place to do it in Park City or nearby.
